Dr. Sam Appears on New Day Cleveland
Dr. Sam Glick appeared on New Day Cleveland to discuss biological dentistry. He talked about how it is a holistic approach that considers how dental treatments affect the entire body, not just the mouth.
What Biological Dentistry Means
Biological dentistry focuses on the connection between oral health and overall systemic health. Dr. Glick explains that his practice avoids a narrow “mouth-only” view and instead considers how materials and procedures may influence the whole body.
Examples include:
- Avoiding materials that may trigger metal allergies
- Recommending removal of old silver amalgam fillings to reduce mercury exposure
- Addressing issues like tongue ties early in children to support proper development

America’s Tooth Fairy Program
At Cleveland Smile Center, we believe it is important to be involved with and support the local community.
Our experience includes working on outreach programs in Belize and supporting the America’s ToothFairy organization.
The America’s ToothFairy program helps millions of children are without access to pediatric dental services and face ongoing health consequences as a result, including untreated tooth decay and other, more intensive dental needs.
As dentists, we dedicate our time and services to help increase access to oral health care by supporting nonprofit clinics and community partners delivering education, prevention and treatment services for underserved children.
We work to ensure all children in our communities can access dental care and learn about oral health.
