Am I a Candidate for Botox (or Xeomin)?
Botox and Xeomin are designed to minimize the appearance of dynamic wrinkles, which are a result of repeated facial expressions, like frowning and smiling. Botox and Xeomin are nearly identical products, both of which we offer to our patients at Cleveland Smile Center based upon individual preference.
Botox (or Xeomin) is not considered to be an effective treatment option for static wrinkles, which are deeper wrinkles resulting from the aging process or sun damage that can be treated with dermal fillers instead. Prior to treatment, our team will meet with you to determine whether you are an appropriate candidate for Botox, as well as to discuss your cosmetic needs and goals.

Can Botox Treatment help with my TMJ?
Tthere are several other medical uses you might not know about including pain relief therapy. To really understand why Botox can be an excellent pain-relieving therapy, let’s take a moment and talk about your temporomandibular joint, know as TMJ. This joint acts as a hinge on both sides of your mouth, allowing you to chew and speak. Unfortunately, the TMJ gets to be very painful for some people.
